Vintage Silver Chinese Bracelet Cuff 800 Silver Handmade 55gms Signed
I found this bracelet in Hong Kong in a tiny, dark shop in an alley. The owner and I went back and forth on the price (using our calculators) and agreed on a price. It's a special memory for me--I just loved Hong Kong.
This gorgeous bracelet is really large, measuring 8 inches around and then the opening is another inch. You can adjust this a little, but not much because this is so thick and heavy. Weighing 55.3 grams of silver, you will know you've got this bracelet on your wrist.
The bamboo design depicts different flowers and then some geometric designs. Inside on each end is a stamp and in the middle is etched something.
I found some similar that were called Chinese wedding bracelets, but that's really out of my area of knowledge.
This tests as 800 silver, possibly a bit higher (between 800 and 900).
This is an amazing piece to add to your collection!
