I added the red paint to the Dunlap Logo, and also added a few clear coats to the entire handles.
This will helps as an added barrier to rust.
Hand sharpened.
NOTES ABOUT MY TOOLS:
All tools are cleaned by hand only -
NO
power tools used.
Mechanism are oiled and lubricated and will be working perfectly unless specified.
Tools will often have a light coat of oil or tool wax when sent, they may be slightly greasy on first touch.
99% of tools listed are MADE IN THE USA, manufacturer origins will always be listed if known.
Basically I clean the tools and remove rust
and/
or surface corrosion.
Oil and get the mechanisms working perfectly.
Give the metal a light polish.
Finish with light oil or wax for protection.
The result is great quality vintage tools for cheaper prices than brand new lower quality equivalents.
