Jugendstil  Wiener Werkstätte Art Nouveau Bauhaus Josef Hoffmann Cake Plate Tortenplatte Schön c.1900  This is a divine cake plate with a Secessionist design .The design could be Josef Hoffman or Joseph Maria Olbrich.   It is signed 1879 and a manufacturer's mark with only a B and an eagle with two huge wings are discernible. The twisted handle is a peculiar touch.  Stands on three metal legs and metal casing surrounds the cake plate.
