Germany 19thC Volkstedt ”LIBERTAS” Roman Goddess of Freedom Porcelain

Description

“LIBERTAS ” by Volkstedt Germany.   She is hand painted, depicting the Roman goddess of Liberty.  Libertas , symbol of freedom.
In floral maiden robe dress with small torch in left hand and book in the other.   She stands an impressive 8.5” tall.
Volkstedt blue mark.  “109.    19th c.
