    Description

Fantastic Antique Gothic Oak Fancy Leaded Glass Room Divider Wall. This is one of 2 matching room dividers that came out of the First Congregational Church in Stamford, Connecticut. The beautiful church was built in 1912 and these dividers were at the back of the sanctuary behind the last pew on each side. They were built in place and never meant to be taken out of the church. The walls are finished the same on both sides. In order to get them out of the auditorium, the walls had to be cut down to get through the doors. I took off the 2 facings of the columns that were between the 3 middle windows and cut them apart there. I then had to take the bottom piece of oak trim that is underneath the 3 middle windows and cut the center section in half in order to get the pieces out of the doors. Each wall was cut into 4 pieces that will need to be reassembled. Once it is put back together and the column faces put back on it will look as good as new again. The wall is 6” thick. Each wall is 13’6” long x 8’6” high. The original finish is in excellent condition. There is only one small piece of glass that has a crack in it. These would be incredible put back together as they were originally or could be reconfigured into something better suited for your needs. THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE WALL. The other wall will be available for purchase also if you would like them both. I am offering these as a pick up item but will work with you on shipping. Any questions 5137390422. Each wall weighs approximately 800-1000 pounds so they are very heavy!!
