Description

This is an original GM built bell housing. It has been welded to repair cracks in the machined face that the transmission pairs up to. The face has been remachined to true it after the weld work. Photos of the inside show evidence of the welding. All of the threads are good including the fork ball stud threads. The relief for the clutch fork stud head was machined deeper to match the material machined from the transmission mounting face. The center hole where the transmission fits inside has a round and proper fit.
