Description
The ideal buyer for this engine would have a 1968 Camaro, Chevelle or Nova 396 car (or clone) with the original engine missing. This engine would be the next best thing because it was a warranty replacement engine (CE) the dealer would put in your vehicle if you trashed your engine under warranty. You would never be able to build this bottom end for the money if you could find a CE block. Try and find a "3916323" 4 bolt main CE block....I have owned this engine for many years, it was built to go in a 1968 Camaro SS that presumably the original engine was gone but, it was found when Camaro Research Group (CRG) went to enter the Block data donated from another enthusiast and it came up as a match to my car. CRG contacted me and I was able to secure the original engine. This engine was built and ready to be installed, smog pump and all. The rings are sealed power and the gaskets are Felpro. The engine builder is available to talk to for serious buyers.
I can ship this engine
but, I am hoping for a local sale so I will need a week to crate it and prepare it for shipping. This engine has not been run since it was built about 10 years ago. I built this engine for myself for a very nice low mileage car, I did not spare any expense on the engine.... The aluminum heads, intake, carb, distributor etc. have already sold on eBay, this is the last of the engine. Serious buyer can call me for more details, send me a message and we will figure it out.
